{"id":9364,"date":"2026-03-19T08:00:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T08:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=9364"},"modified":"2026-03-19T08:00:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T08:00:42","slug":"works-on-romanias-two-main-motorway-projects-gain-momentum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=9364","title":{"rendered":"Works on Romania\u2019s two main motorway projects gain momentum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The works on Romania\u2019s main motorway projects, Moldova\u2019s motorway (A7) and Sibiu-Pitesti motorway (A1) that crosses the Carpathians, are reportedly gaining momentum with a larger number of workers involved and the pace of work advancing as the weather improves, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/economedia.ro\/video-autostrada-moldovei-a7-focsani-bacau-se-lucreaza-intens-pe-lotul-3-constructorul-a-mobilizat-peste-600-de-lucratori-anunta-drdp-iasi.html?mc_cid=f6cf7b6bd7&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Economedia.ro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pace of work on one of the most difficult sections of the Sibiu-Pite\u0219ti motorway is gradually increasing as the weather improves, said the general director of the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR), Cristian Pistol.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Turkish construction association (Mapa \u2013 Cenghiz) is working on the site, 24 hours a day, with 500 workers and 150 machines, where the work front allows it,&#8221; Pistol wrote on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1613593133175776\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Intensive work is also underway on Lot 3 of the A7 Foc\u0219ani &#8211; Bac\u0103u segment of Moldova\u2019s Motorway, between R\u0103c\u0103ciuni and Bac\u0103u, announced the regional road directorate DRDP Ia\u0219i, which has published images and details about the status of the works.<\/p>\n<p>The physical stage of execution on this lot exceeded 70%, with the builder being mobilised on site with over 600 workers (skilled\/unskilled workers, machine mechanics, drivers, TESA personnel) and approximately 150 dump trucks and equipment, with various types of work.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>iulian@romania-insider.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>(Photo source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dreamstime.com\/\">Bogdanhoda\/Dreamstime.com<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The works on Romania\u2019s main motorway projects, Moldova\u2019s motorway (A7) and Sibiu-Pitesti motorway (A1) that crosses the Carpathians, are reportedly gaining momentum with a larger number of workers involved and the pace of work advancing as the weather improves, according to Economedia.ro.
