{"id":8952,"date":"2026-02-19T08:00:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T08:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8952"},"modified":"2026-02-19T08:00:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T08:00:30","slug":"polish-elemental-group-to-build-eur-20-mln-weee-recycling-factory-in-romania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8952","title":{"rendered":"Polish Elemental Group to build EUR 20 mln WEEE recycling factory in Romania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Poland\u2019s Elemental Group, one of Europe\u2019s largest metal recycling companies, has taken full control of Romanian firm ACC Recycling Services and is preparing a EUR 20 million investment in a new recycling plant, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.profit.ro\/povesti-cu-profit\/energie\/gigant-polonez-pregateste-o-fabrica-in-romania-a-preluat-controlul-integral-al-acc-recycling-services-22350182?mc_cid=4dd3b080b4&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Profit.ro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Polish group recently acquired the remaining 20% stake in ACC Recycling Services from founder Cristian-Ioan Pocol, after having secured an 80% majority holding in December 2024. With the latest transaction, Elemental Group now fully controls the Romanian company, which operates in the waste treatment sector.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the initial acquisition, Elemental announced plans to invest approximately EUR 20 million in the construction of a waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling plant near Deva, in Hunedoara County.<\/p>\n<p>The total value of the project stands at EUR 19.84 million, of which EUR 8.4 million is expected to come from non-refundable funds under Romania\u2019s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
