Meanwhile, trains departing from Bucharest have been registering delays of up to five hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Authorities also closed rail circulation between Ploie\u0219ti and Bucharest early in the morning after fallen trees damaged overhead power lines.<\/p>\n
Among the suspended services were InterCity trains between Bucharest North and Bra\u0219ov, Bucharest North and Suceava, and Bucharest North and Gala\u021bi, as well as multiple regional and interregional routes, including Bucharest-Constan\u021ba and Slobozia Veche-Ciulni\u021ba. Additional services between Mizil and Brazi and Ploie\u0219ti South and Bucharest were halted to allow crews to clear the tracks.<\/p>\n
