{"id":8930,"date":"2026-02-18T08:00:55","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T08:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8930"},"modified":"2026-02-18T08:00:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T08:00:55","slug":"romanias-real-estate-market-shrinks-by-30-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8930","title":{"rendered":"Romania\u2019s real estate market shrinks by 30% in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The total transaction volume in 2025 reached approximately EUR 525 million, almost 30% below the level in 2024, when the market reached EUR 750 million, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.profit.ro\/povesti-cu-profit\/real-estate-constructii\/investitorii-romani-motorul-pietei-imobiliare-cu-30-din-volumul-tranzactiilor-incheiate-peste-capitalul-sud-african-sau-cel-austriac-cele-mai-mari-tranzactii-anuntate-in-premiera-de-profit-ro-22350459?mc_cid=1151120047&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Profit.ro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This decrease does not indicate a lack of interest from investors, but is the result of the postponement of major transactions and, secondarily, of the domestic political uncertainties of last year, according to analysts.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the market was mainly supported by the retail and office segments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Retail was the most active, generating approximately 38% of the total volume.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The most important transaction of the year was the sale of a portfolio of retail parks of approximately 32,000 square meters to the British fund M Core, for approximately EUR 57 million.
