{"id":8462,"date":"2026-01-19T09:00:30","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T09:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8462"},"modified":"2026-01-19T09:00:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T09:00:30","slug":"three-in-ten-romanians-above-15-have-no-bank-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=8462","title":{"rendered":"Three in ten Romanians above 15 have no bank account\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The share of Romanians above 15 years old with a bank account is 71% compared to the 94% average in the European Union, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zf.ro\/banci-si-asigurari\/70-romani-au-cont-bancar-romania-fiind-coada-topului-ue-incluziunii-23015284?mc_cid=0ad2e7b451&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Ziarul Financiar<\/a>, citing data from the financial stability report compiled by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The households&#8217; indebtedness is also among the lowest in Europe \u2013 possibly because of the high home ownership rate (hence fewer mortgage loans) \u2013 which is not necessarily a negative feature.
