{"id":7327,"date":"2025-10-21T10:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T10:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=7327"},"modified":"2025-10-21T10:00:31","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T10:00:31","slug":"romania-closes-transfagarasan-and-transalpina-mountain-roads-due-to-bad-weather","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=7327","title":{"rendered":"Romania closes Transf\u0103g\u0103r\u0103\u0219an and Transalpina mountain roads due to bad weather"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities in Romania closed road traffic on the famous <strong>Transf\u0103g\u0103r\u0103\u0219an<\/strong> and Transalpina mountain roads due to bad weather conditions and possible hazards caused by heavy snowfalls, blizzards, frequent avalanches, and massive rock or stone falls.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, traffic has been closed on DN7C (Transf\u0103g\u0103r\u0103\u0219an), on the section between Piscu Negru (km 104+000) and B\u00e2lea Cascad\u0103 (km 130+800), and on DN 67C (Transalpina), from R\u00e2nca (km 34+800) to Curpat (km 79+200), according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnadnr.ro\/ro\/comunicare\/comunicate-de-presa\/interes-general\/transf%C4%83g%C4%83r%C4%83%C8%99anul-%C8%99i-transalpina-s-au-%C3%AEnchis-de-ast%C4%83zi\">National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe measure to close traffic on these mountain sections was taken based on the reports issued by the Special Revision Commissions,\u201d according to the company&#8217;s statement.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, the decision was adopted by CNAIR due to unfavorable weather conditions and possible hazards caused by heavy snowfalls, blizzards, frequent avalanches, massive rock or stone falls, floods, landslides, fog, and ice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdditionally, at high altitude, atmospheric instability is accentuated and can produce extreme weather phenomena at any moment.
