{"id":6596,"date":"2025-09-02T13:00:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T13:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=6596"},"modified":"2025-09-02T13:00:24","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T13:00:24","slug":"tiff-presents-program-of-outdoor-film-screenings-at-bucharest-mall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=6596","title":{"rendered":"TIFF presents program of outdoor film screenings at Bucharest mall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Cinema under the Moonlight<\/em>, a program of open-air film screenings with free admission, is set to run on the terrace of Promenada Mall in Bucharest between September 11 and October 16.<\/p>\n<p>The screenings are organized in partnership with Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), the largest film event in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The program includes classics of Romanian cinema, such as Nae Caranfil\u2019s <em>\u00c8 pericoloso sporgersi<\/em>, which screened in 1993 at the Cannes festival in the Quinzaine des R\u00e9alisateurs section, Thomas Vinterberg\u2019s <em>Another Round<\/em>, the 2021 winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, Cesc Gay\u2019s <em>The People Upstairs<\/em>, Xavier Giannoli\u2019s <em>Lost Illusions<\/em>, which won the Best Film distinction at the 2022 C\u00e9sar Awards, and Paul Negoescu\u2019s <em>Two Lottery Tickets<\/em>, the winner of the Public\u2019s Choice prize at the 2017 Gopo Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The screenings will take place every Thursday, from 8:00 PM, on the terrace on the second floor of Promenada Mall.<\/p>\n<p><em>(Photo: still from Another Round, courtesy of TIFF)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>simona@romania-insider.com<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cinema under the Moonlight, a program of open-air film screenings with free admission, is set to run on the terrace of Promenada Mall in Bucharest between September 11 and October 16.
