{"id":6078,"date":"2025-07-28T13:02:25","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T13:02:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=6078"},"modified":"2025-07-28T13:02:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T13:02:25","slug":"romania-wins-nine-medals-at-the-balkan-athletics-championships-2025-in-greece","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=6078","title":{"rendered":"Romania wins nine medals at the Balkan Athletics Championships 2025 in Greece"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Romanian delegation concluded its participation in the Balkan Senior Championships in Volos, Greece, with a total of 9 medals, out of which 4 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.<\/p>\n<p>The gold medals were won by athletes Rare\u015f Toader in shot put (20.74 meters), Alin Firfiric\u0103 in discus throw (63.15 meters), Alina Rotaru-Kottmann in long jump (6.81 meters), and R\u0103zvan Cristian Grecu in triple jump (16.46 meters), according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.ro\/sport\/atletism-romania-9-medalii-din-care-patru-de-aur-la-campionatul-balcanic-de-seniori-de-la-volos-1922405427572025072222111806\">News.ro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Silver medals were earned by Andreea Talo\u015f in triple jump (14.10 meters), Andrea Miklo\u015f in the 400 meters race (51.53 seconds), and Bianca Ghelber in hammer throw (70.20 meters).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the bronze medals were won by Romanian athletes Mihai Dringo in the 400 meters race (45.29 seconds) and Ramona Verman in the long jump (6.63 meters).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Balkan Senior Championships took place between 26 and 27 July at the Panthessaliko Stadium in Volos, Greece.
