{"id":5265,"date":"2025-06-02T07:07:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T07:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=5265"},"modified":"2025-06-02T07:07:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T07:07:16","slug":"alka-trading-doubles-investment-budget-to-expand-production-capacity-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=5265","title":{"rendered":"Alka Trading doubles investment budget to expand production capacity in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alka Trading, one of Romania\u2019s leading snack producers, has allocated an investment budget of RON 98 million (EUR 20 million) for 2025, marking a twofold increase over the previous year, the company told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zf.ro\/companii\/retail-agrobusiness\/antreprenori-locali-producatorul-alka-toortitzi-bugetat-investitii-22820319?mc_cid=07d7fb5487&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Ziarul Financiar<\/a> for the upcoming 20th edition of The Biggest Players in the Economy yearbook.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ady Hirsch, Chief Executive Officer of Alka Group, the primary focus of this year\u2019s investment is the expansion of production capacities. Secondary priorities include infrastructure upgrades and digitalisation projects across the company\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n<p>Founded by the Krenzia family, Alka operates two manufacturing facilities &#8211; one in Bucharest and one in Ploie\u015fti. The company invested EUR 25 million in the Ploie\u015fti factory, which was inaugurated in 2019. Plans to expand that facility were first announced in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The Ploie\u015fti site specialises in the production of baked savoury snacks, including the Toortitzi, Soocitzi, and Meteoritzi brands.
