Carrefour Romania has appointed Gabriela St\u0103nic\u0103 to its executive committee, effective June 1, 2025. She is serving as Chief Information Officer for Digital and AI.<\/p>\n
With over two decades of experience in the IT sector, St\u0103nic\u0103 joined Carrefour Romania in October 2020. Since then, she has overseen the company\u2019s digital transformation efforts, including the modernization of IT infrastructure, automation of retail and back-office operations, supply chain optimization, and cloud migration.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She has also played a key role in integrating the Cora retail network into the Carrefour ecosystem by aligning infrastructure and digital systems, the company said.<\/p>\n
In her new role, Gabriela St\u0103nic\u0103 will lead Carrefour\u2019s AI initiatives, aiming to enhance the company’s digital capabilities and improve the customer experience. Carrefour has already implemented AI tools in Romania to analyze consumer behavior, optimize product assortments, and personalize its loyalty program, Act for Good.<\/p>\n
