{"id":4997,"date":"2025-05-14T11:01:41","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T11:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=4997"},"modified":"2025-05-14T11:01:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T11:01:41","slug":"wizz-air-boosts-timisoara-and-brasov-operations-with-new-flights-and-increased-capacity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=4997","title":{"rendered":"Wizz Air boosts Timi\u0219oara and Bra\u0219ov operations with new flights and increased capacity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Low-cost carrier Wizz Air announced six new routes from Timi\u0219oara and Bra\u0219ov, two major cities in western and central Romania, respectively, as well as a third aircraft allocated to its Timi\u0219oara base.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The additional aircraft will support the launch of five new international routes from Timi\u0219oara to Larnaca, Nuremberg, Basel, Frankfurt Hahn, and Naples, with flights beginning in October and tickets already on sale starting from EUR 14.99.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The move will boost capacity at Timi\u0219oara by over 198,000 seats, a 62% increase compared to the previous winter season.<\/p>\n<p>The airline will also increase the frequency of existing routes from Timi\u0219oara to Bari, Baden-Baden, and Dortmund, all of which will be served four times per week starting in October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its Timi\u0219oara expansion, Wizz Air announced a new route from Bra\u0219ov to Nuremberg, set to launch in October with flights operating three times per week &#8211; on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This follows a previous announcement of a Bra\u0219ov\u2013Naples route launching the same month.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, as of winter 2025, Wizz Air will connect Bra\u0219ov International Airport to five destinations: Budapest, Dortmund, London Luton, Naples, and Nuremberg.<\/p>\n<p>Wizz Air has been active in Romania since 2006 and now operates 182 routes from 13 airports, linking Romanian cities with 71 destinations across 24 countries.
