To mark the special day, the railway passenger carrier\u00a0CFR\u00a0C\u0103l\u0103tori will introduce the special Union Train &#8220;to carry the national message&#8221; from Bucharest to Ia\u0219i and back.<\/p>\n<p>Departing from Bucharest&#8217;s Gara de Nord at 6:51 AM, the Union Train will feature a locomotive painted in the colors of the Romanian flag. Locals are invited to greet the train at various stops along the route, including Ploie\u0219ti, Mizil, Buz\u0103u, Foc\u0219ani, Tecuci, B\u00e2rlad, Vaslui, and Ia\u0219i, where it will arrive at around 1:51 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The carriages of train IR 1661\/IR 1664 Bucharest Nord \u2013 Ia\u0219i and return will bear the names of the main historical figures of the time, namely Mihail Kog\u0103lniceanu, Vasile Alecsandri, Mo\u015f Ion Roat\u0103, and Alexandru Ioan Cuza.<\/p>\n<p>On the Day of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, the IR 1661 Union Train will have an additional stop of approximately 15 minutes at the B\u00e2rlad and Vaslui stations.
