According to court records from the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the case was registered on Wednesday, December 11, and is currently under preliminary chamber procedures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agerpres.ro\/justitie\/2024\/12\/12\/fostul-ministru-al-sanatatii-nelu-tataru-trimis-in-judecata-de-dna-pentru-luare-de-mita--1402542\" target=\"_blank\">Agerpres<\/a> reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The indictment follows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.romania-insider.com\/nelu-tataru-bribery-investigation-october-2024\" target=\"_blank\">a previous announcement by the DNA on October 10<\/a>, revealing that T\u0103taru, also a member of parliament, had been placed under investigation for a series of bribery offenses.
