{"id":2925,"date":"2024-12-09T07:04:48","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T07:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=2925"},"modified":"2024-12-09T07:04:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T07:04:48","slug":"arcelormittal-curtails-operations-at-romanian-steel-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=2925","title":{"rendered":"ArcelorMittal curtails operations at Romanian steel plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ArcelorMittal Steel Plant in Hunedoara (BVB: SIDG) announced it decided to reduce its activity from December 9 until the end of 2024 as a consequence of the lack of orders during this period.<\/p>\n<p>The company will pay 75% of the wages to its 600 employees, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zf.ro\/burse-fonduri-mutuale\/vesti-proaste-in-prag-de-sarbatori-arcelormittal-hunedoara-anunta-22596033?mc_cid=22e85988c7&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Ziarul Financiar<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s losses have more than doubled to RON 80 million (EUR 16 million) in January-September, while its revenues decreased by 13% y\/y to RON 420 million.
