Well-known American actor John Malkovich, who was on stage last week at the National Theatre in Timi\u0219oara, visited the city\u2019s first official souvenir shop on Friday, November 15.<\/p>\n
The visit was announced by Timi\u0219oara mayor Dominic Fritz.<\/p>\n
“Even Hollywood has come to the new souvenir shop. We\u2019re delighted that John Malkovich found high-quality mementos from Timi\u0219oara and left with a bag full from the Timi\u0219oara Souvenir Station,” Fritz wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n
The mayor also shared a photo of the famous actor, who starred in the play titled Infamous Ramirez Hoffmann <\/em>on November 14 and 15.\u00a0<\/p>\n Additionally, Fritz posted a photo of actor and Timi\u0219oara native Virgil Ian\u021bu at the same shop.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAuthentic gifts are available at Timi\u0219oara\u2019s first official souvenir shop. The team from Visit Timi\u0219oara – the city\u2019s promotional association – will be there, and you\u2019re sure to find the perfect gift,\u201d the mayor previously posted on the same social media platform.<\/p>\n The city on the Bega River was the European Capital of Culture in 2023 and organized numerous events, including theater plays with John Malkovich at the center. All of the actors\u2019 performances were well received by local audiences.<\/p>\n
