{"id":2079,"date":"2024-10-11T10:11:56","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T10:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=2079"},"modified":"2024-10-11T10:11:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T10:11:56","slug":"romanias-sarmizegetusa-regia-ancient-fortress-temporarily-closed-to-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=2079","title":{"rendered":"Romania\u2019s Sarmizegetusa Regia ancient fortress temporarily closed to visitors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The famous Sarmizegetusa Regia Dacian site in Or\u0103\u015ftiei Mountains, Romania, will be temporarily closed to the public between October 14 and November 30 for planned works at the entrance gate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring this period, works are being carried out at the entrance gate (West gate) as part of the project &#8220;Capital of Dacia &#8211; Living Museum of European Cultural Heritage.\u201d Thus, in order not to endanger the safety of visitors during the works carried out at the West Gate (which ensures access for tourists), the site will be closed between October 14 and November 30, 2024,\u201d announced the General Directorate of Monuments Administration and Tourist Promotion (DGAMPT) Hunedoara.<\/p>\n\n<p>Sarmizegetusa Regia is part of the complex of Dacian fortresses in the Or\u0103\u015ftiei Mountains.
