Meanwhile, Romanian athletes also earned eight medals at the Senior Table Tennis Championships.<\/p>\n<p>The rowing competition took place in Edirne, Turkey. In total, Romania participated with 14 teams, marking a dominant performance at the event, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agerpres.ro\/sport-extern\/2024\/09\/08\/canotaj-romania-a-cucerit-noua-medalii-de-aur-la-europenele-under-23--1351491\">Agerpres<\/a>. The teams competed in:<\/p>\n<p>Women&#8217;s Coxed Four: The team (Delia Mirabela Gr\u0103din\u0103ciuc, Iuliana Isabela Boldea, Estera V\u00eelceanu, Larisa Bogdan, Rucsandra-Ioana Buc\u015fa) won gold with a time of 07:16.35, finishing well ahead of Italy (07:22.12).<br \/>\nMen&#8217;s Coxed Four: The men&#8217;s team (Cristian-Vasile Nicoar\u0103, Ionu\u0163 Pavel, Andrei Vatamaniuc, Sergiu Anfimov, Maria-Antonia Iancu) claimed victory in a tight race with a time of 06:23.40, narrowly beating Denmark (06:25.84).<br \/>\nMen&#8217;s Pair: Andrei M\u00e2ndril\u0103 and Leontin Nu\u0163escu won by a small margin (06:36.63) against the Belarus team (06:37.99).<br \/>\nWomen&#8217;s Pair: Daria-Ioana Dinulescu and Georgiana Bl\u0103nariu dominated their race with a time of 07:24.39, beating Poland (07:34.12).<br \/>\nWomen&#8217;s Four: Beatrice Piseru, Denisa Cristina Ailinc\u0103i, Petru\u0163a-Ionela Popa, and Georgelia Stoica secured gold in 06:52.92, finishing ahead of Poland (06:54.89).<br \/>\nWomen&#8217;s Double Sculls: Andrada Maria Moro\u015fanu and Iulia B\u0103l\u0103uc\u0103 comfortably won with a time of 07:04.35, defeating Poland (07:10.78).<br \/>\nWomen&#8217;s Quadruple Sculls: Romania (Mariana-Laura Dumitru, Manuela-Gabriela Lungu, Emanuela Ioana Ciot\u0103u, Patricia Cire\u015f) clinched victory with a time of 06:39.35, edging out Poland (06:41.27).<br \/>\nMen&#8217;s Eight with Coxswain: Romania&#8217;s team (Costi-Daniel Neagoe, Andrei Hemen, Cristian-Vasile Nicoar\u0103, Ionu\u0163 Pavel, Andrei Vatamaniuc, Sergiu Anfimov, Andrei M\u00e2ndril\u0103, Leontin Nu\u0163escu, Maria-Antonia Iancu) finished in 05:44.15, three seconds ahead of Turkey (05:47.24).<br \/>\nWomen&#8217;s Eight with Coxswain: Romania&#8217;s team (Daria-Ioana Dinulescu, Andreea Nicoleta Dinu, Ana-Maria M\u0103tran, Larisa Bogdan, Delia Mirabela Gr\u0103din\u0103ciuc, Georgiana Bl\u0103nariu, Estera V\u00eelceanu, Elena-Diana Suta, Rucsandra-Ioana Buc\u015fa) won decisively in 06:34.68, well ahead of Ukraine (06:46.15).<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s single sculls, Bianca Camelia Ifteni just missed the bronze, finishing fourth, behind rowers from Switzerland, Russia, and Greece. In the men\u2019s four event, the Romanian team finished last.<\/p>\n<p>Romanian athletes also won eight medals at the Balkan Senior Table Tennis Championships, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
