{"id":147,"date":"2024-05-20T08:08:19","date_gmt":"2024-05-20T08:08:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=147"},"modified":"2024-05-20T08:08:19","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T08:08:19","slug":"district-4-city-hall-plans-new-airport-south-of-bucharest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=147","title":{"rendered":"District 4 City Hall plans new airport south of Bucharest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>District 4 of Bucharest will set up a company together with the neighbouring Giurgiu county local authorities to develop a new airport under an investment estimated at EUR 2 billion, announced district\u2019s mayor Daniel Baluta &#8211; expected to hold his seat after the local elections this June.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the pre-feasibility study will be published in August.<\/p>\n<p>The Bucharest South Airport should be sized in such a way so as to serve over 11 million passengers and\u00a0handle at least 30,000 tonnes of goods, according to a preliminary study recently completed by a consortium of experts formed by Concrete &amp; Design Solutions and Urban Scope, coordinated by representatives of the SETEC of France.<\/p>\n<p>Two locations are considered for the construction of Bucharest Sud Airport, namely Gr\u0103di\u0219tea and Aduna\u021bii Cop\u0103ceni, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economica.net\/aeroport-bucuresti-sud_747439.html?mc_cid=3a182b1beb&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Economica.net<\/a> reported.
