{"id":144,"date":"2024-05-20T06:22:44","date_gmt":"2024-05-20T06:22:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=144"},"modified":"2024-05-20T06:22:44","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T06:22:44","slug":"depictions-photo-exhibition-by-danielle-van-zadelhoff-to-open-at-the-national-museum-of-art-in-bucharest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=144","title":{"rendered":"Depictions: Photo exhibition by Danielle van Zadelhoff to open at the National Museum of Art in Bucharest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Depictions<\/em>, an exhibition of photography by Dutch artist Danielle van Zadelhoff, is scheduled to open at the National Museum of Art of Romania (MNAR) this month.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is meant as a dialogue between contemporary art and the works of the old masters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some of the photographs will be showcased in a dialogue with the works of the European masters in the museum\u2019s European Art Gallery in order to highlight \u201cthrough themed grouping or compositional associations, her ability to create novel artistic images starting from the major European visual landmarks,\u201d the museum explained.<\/p>\n<p>The 27 photographs in the show are \u201cseductive, mysterious, profound compositions\u201d that are familiar to the viewer \u201cthrough evoking the Caravaggesque chiaroscuro, the carefully directed light of Rembrantesque origin or the innocent glances of young ladies that seem to emerge from the visual atmosphere of J. B. Greuze or J. H.
