The procurement is part of broader investment in the capital\u2019s public transport network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are continuing major investments in the public transport network,\u201d Ciucu wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The trams will be purchased under projects to modernize Bucharest\u2019s tram system and extend the network along Prelungirea Ghencea.<\/p>\n<p>The contract has an estimated value of RON 1.405 billion, excluding VAT.
