The restriction applies to all categories of vehicles, Romania\u2019s road infrastructure company CNAIR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnadnr.ro\/ro\/comunicare\/comunicate-de-presa\/interes-general\/circula%C8%9Bia-pe-dn-67c-sectorul-cuprins-%C3%AEntre-r%C3%A2nca-%C8%99i\">announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Before the closure took effect, a snow-clearing vehicle from the T\u00e2rgu Jiu road authority carried out a final inspection to check whether any vehicles remained on the route.<\/p>\n<p>No further inspections will be conducted while the restriction is in place, and vehicles will not be permitted to enter the closed section.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe recommend that drivers comply with the measures and not attempt to enter the closed road section,\u201d CNAIR said.<\/p>\n<p>Last Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.romania-insider.com\/society\/romanias-famous-mountain-road-transfagarasan-road-closes-amid\">road traffic was also temporarily suspended<\/a> on part of the Transf\u0103g\u0103r\u0103\u0219an due to snow, fog, and low temperatures.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Road traffic on Romania\u2019s famous mountain road Transalpina\u00a0(DN67C) between R\u00e2nca and Ob\u00e2r\u0219ia Lotrului was temporarily suspended from 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
