The Bucharest Stock Exchange launched the BVB Arena 2026 edition on Wednesday, October 14, targeting Romanian entrepreneurial companies with high growth potential and capital market readiness.<\/p>\n
Through its redesigned structure, the program aims to identify and select relevant companies while creating a structured framework for direct interaction with capital market professionals.<\/p>\n
The launch event was officially marked by the traditional bell-ringing ceremony, signaling the start of the nomination phase.<\/p>\n
Nominations for BVB Arena 2026 can be submitted on the dedicated platform www.bvbarena.ro between October 14 and November 15, 2026. Submissions can be made by members of the Nomination Committee, entrepreneurs (including self-nominations), as well as the public. Eligibility requirements include, among others, a minimum annual turnover threshold of RON 5 million and recorded net profit in each of the last 3 years of operation.<\/p>\n
Following the nomination stage, the Nomination Committee will vote and select 40 “IPO Candidate” companies to advance to the next phases. These companies will participate in 1-on-1 site visits, facilitating direct dialogue with capital market experts. Based on these visits, individual assessment reports will be drafted. These reports will serve as an analytical tool for the Jury, alongside the other criteria outlined in the methodology, during the final review and voting process.<\/p>\n
Importantly, the Listing Potential Assessment Sheets do not constitute a listing certification, a due diligence process, or an investment recommendation, and offer no guarantees regarding an eventual listing.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, a Public Vote will designate 3 “IPO Public Choice” companies, while the Jury will select the 12 “IPO Ready” businesses. The companies selected in these two categories will be announced and awarded at the official BVB Arena Gala.<\/p>\n

This interaction will significantly strengthen Romania\u2019s entrepreneurial community,\u201d stated Remus Vulpescu, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n
