No transaction exceeded USD 100 mln, compared with one such deal in the same period of 2025, when Pav\u0103l Holding acquired Greek retailer Praktiker Hellas for approximately USD 151 million.<\/p>\n<p>One of the notable transactions announced in Q3 was the acquisition of Pall-Ex Romania by BoldMind Capital Partners together with the company\u2019s executive management team. The leveraged buyout was valued at approximately USD 29 million. Pall-Ex Romania provides domestic and international distribution services for palletised goods and is part of a European distribution network.<\/p>\n<p>Another notable transaction, although excluded from EY\u2019s Romanian M&amp;A database, was the voluntary public takeover offer launched by Canadian company Alimentation Couche-Tard for \u017babka Group, Poland\u2019s largest convenience-store retailer. \u017babka operates more than 13,000 stores in Poland and Romania, with its Romanian outlets trading under the Froo brand.
