The company won the auction conducted as part of the shipyard\u2019s insolvency proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>CITR said the transaction could allow operations to resume at the shipyard, which it described as one of Romania\u2019s most important industrial assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sale concludes a complex asset-valuation process intended to ensure operational continuity and provide an encouraging outlook for the future,\u201d said CITR CEO Paul Dieter C\u00eerl\u0103naru.<\/p>\n<p>The sale price was at 75% of the EUR 184 million market value used for the previous four auctions, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zf.ro\/zf-24\/santierul-naval-damen-mangalia-vandut-catre-gigantul-rheinmetall-pentru-138-milioane-de-euro-23256754\">Ziarul Financiar<\/a>.
