By type of construction, the volume of construction works increased in non-residential buildings (9.0%), residential buildings (3.9%) and engineering construction works (1.6%).<\/p>\n

The INS said that in the period January 1-July 31, 2026, compared with the same period in 2025, the volume of construction works, as a gross series, increased overall by 11.2%, with increases recorded in new construction works (14.2%), maintenance and current repairs works (7.0%) and capital repairs works (4.0%).<\/p>\n
By type of construction, increases were recorded in residential buildings (18.6%), engineering construction (10.6%) and non-residential buildings (7.5%).<\/p>\n
