{"id":11782,"date":"2026-09-01T07:00:29","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T07:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=11782"},"modified":"2026-09-01T07:00:29","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T07:00:29","slug":"ec-ready-to-maintain-support-for-romania-in-its-efforts-to-legislate-a-new-wage-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofero.news\/?p=11782","title":{"rendered":"EC ready to maintain support for Romania in its efforts to legislate a new Wage Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Commenting on Romania\u2019s failed attempt to legislate a new Wage Law for the public sector under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), the European Commission said it \u201cstands ready to support efforts to maintain the essence and objectives of the reform and to help the authorities identify solutions that can contribute to achieving its main objectives,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digi24.ro\/stiri\/prima-reactie-a-comisiei-europene-dupa-ce-romania-a-pierdut-770-de-milioane-de-euro-din-pnrr-din-cauza-legii-salarizarii-3928269?mc_cid=425ff7d224&amp;mc_eid=cd1f92f96c\" target=\"_blank\">Digi24<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission said it understood that Romania intended to achieve this before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Romania lost the EUR 770 million RRF grant linked to the reform, after the Presidency announced last week that the centrist parties negotiating the draft had failed to reach an agreement.
