The well-known composer and musician Goran Bregovi\u0107, whose music stems from southeastern European inspiration, will bring the \u201cGod Is Not Your Babysitter\u201d tour to BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on February 27, 2027.<\/p>\n
According to the organizers, the artists\u2019 music is known throughout the Balkan area thanks to its arrangements for brass instruments, powerful rhythms, and vocals used as instruments, creating an energetic, complex, and deeply melodic sound.\u00a0His distinctive musical language brings together Balkan and Roma traditions, folk influences, sacred vocal music, and contemporary sounds.<\/p>\n
Bregovi\u0107\u2019s new album, \u201cGod Is Not Your Babysitter,\u201d marks a new chapter in this musical journey, taking audiences on a fascinating journey through the Balkans and far beyond its borders, the organizers said.<\/p>\n
Bregovi\u0107 will play in Cluj alongside his renowned nine-member band, Wedding and Funeral Band.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Goran Bregovi\u0107 is internationally known also as a film music composer, particularly for his highly acclaimed collaborations with director Emir Kusturica, for whom he composed the music for classic films such as \u201cTime of the Gypsies,\u201d \u201cArizona Dream\u201d and \u201cUnderground.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
He is also internationally recognized for his work as a contemporary composer and regularly performs at major international festivals and in some of the world\u2019s most prestigious concert halls.<\/p>\n
