The Interactive Children\u2019s Museum (MIC) is scheduled to open in Timi\u0219oara this weekend, inside the city\u2019s Maria Theresia Bastion.<\/p>\n
Described as a \u201cspace for play and discovery,\u201d it is designed for children up to 14 years old. Its interactive installations, set within 400 sqm of the bastion of the old Timi\u0219oara fortress, are meant to take young visitors through the city\u2019s past, present, and future.<\/p>\n
Around 20 interactive installations are on display at the museum, among them AnimaMic, created by Cosmin Obreja, Tower of Time and The Free and Innovative City, designed by Ciprian Branea, as well as Facade Backstage, created by Alex Boca together with Heritage of Timi\u0219oara, Tion.ro <\/a>reported.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a museum where the children of Timi\u0219oara, but also the children of tourists, can discover the city through play, experiment, and interactive installation,\u201d Timi\u0219oara mayor Dominic Fritz said.<\/p>\n The museum was developed by Visit Timi\u0219oara, with support from the Timi\u0219oara City Hall and Timi\u0219oara Center for Projects, together with other private partners.<\/p>\n\n (Photo:\u00a0MIC.
